Description Our reputable client is seeking a Director of Finance to join the company. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as part of the management team. 　　Responsibilities

　　Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

　　Suggest benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance

　　Develop financial analysis prior to contract negotiations and product investment decisions

　　Work with department managers to develop five-year business plans

　　Direct risk and insurance management

　　Perform analysis on operating results, comparing against budget

　　Comply with all budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal

　　Develop and monitor an organizational structure in order to accomplish department goals and objectives

　　Supervise all operations of the finance and accounting department

　　Oversee the preparation of all financial reports

　　Oversee all hiring aspects of finance staff, including training and retention

　　Analyze and monitor forecasting and budgeting models

　　Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts and outlooks

　　Direct, review, and prepare financial planning and budget management functions Requirements - Expert understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

　　High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

　　Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

　　MBA or CPA is preferred

　　10+ years of accounting and finance experience

　　Very detail oriented and expert analytical thinking skills

　　Experience with multiple accounting and financial reporting systems
