We are seeking an experienced leader to lead our Total Rewards team (Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll). Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), this position will be responsible for directing the strategy and execution of all total rewards programs that support the company's vision, mission, and values. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the business to develop proactive and innovative approaches to ensure our total rewards are competitive, drive business results and align with our culture in order to support the attraction, motivation and retention of our associates. You will leverage your knowledge of market conditions and collaborate with your peers to design tailored strategies for rewards concerning key talent segments. You will be responsible for innovation, cost management, communications, and compliance of all plans, in addition to leading all elements of the total rewards department including compensation, executive compensation, wellness, payroll, leave management, rewards, recognition and retirement programs. You will also support the CHRO to drive continuous improvement within the HR function, drawing on external and internal best practices and leading-edge HR thinking on benefits, compensation, and payroll initiatives. This includes identifying and evaluating external market changes and internal trends to inform strategic designs. A Day in the Life Total Reward Strategy:Develop and execute a total reward strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals, values and competitive positioning in the market. Compensation Management:Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including base salary, incentives, bonuses and equity plans, to ensure they are competitive, equitable and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. Executive Compensation:Review, evaluate and execute the executive compensation programs (base, bonus, and equity) by collaborating with the CHRO and with outside executive compensation consultants to ensure they are performance driven, market competitive, appropriately leveraged, legally compliant, accurately administered and effectively communicated. Benefits and Well-being:Lead the development and management of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other well-being initiatives, to enhance associate satisfaction and retention. Leave Management Programs: Oversee the design, implementation, and communication of leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation and other leaves of absence. Market Analysis:Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, industry benchmarks and compensation practices to ensure that our total r ward programs remain competitive and relevant. Payroll: Oversee the design, implementation, and communication of payroll programs, including payroll processing, tax compliance, and payroll systems. Compliance and Governance:Ensure that all compensation and benefits programs adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Employee Communication:Develop effective communication strategies to educate and engage employees about the total reward programs, highlighting the value of the offerings. Vendor Management:Oversee relationships with external partners, consultants, and vendors to optimize the delivery of compensation and benefits services. Data Analytics:Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions, provide insights, and track the effectiveness of total reward programs. Team Leadership:Build and lead a high-performing Total Rewards team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Partnerships: Partner with senior executives, HR leaders and business managers to provide strategic counsel and guidance on total rewards issues and initiatives. In partnership with CHRO, lead the compensation committee process with the board, managing the preparation of materials and facilitating discussions. Required Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field required. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in total rewards, including compensation, benefits, and payroll. Minimum of 8 years of experience leading and managing total rewards teams and functions. Experience in designing and implementing innovative total rewards strategies and programs for a complex and diverse organization. Strong knowledge of total rewards laws and regulations, including ERISA, FLSA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA and other relevant laws. Strong experience working with Board of Directors (preparing recommendations, materials, and updates for executive leadership, Board of Directors, and Compensation Committee.) Preferred Master's degree in human resources, business administration or related field Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or other relevant certification You will thrive in this position if you are: An innovative leader who acts with focused velocity, removes obstacles and fosters collaboration.
