What you'll be challenged to do:
The Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for leading the companys planning cycle and overseeing long-range planning, annual plans, and monthly/quarterly forecasts.
Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversees financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical support to ensure efficient financial operations.Acts as a strategic partner, providing financial expertise and guidance on how to drive sustained revenue growth.Reports and analyzes trends, KPIs, budgets vs actuals, etc. Analyzes data to refine the accuracy of projections, including risk and opportunity assessments, and supports monthly estimates.Own processes to monitor progress against goals and evaluate budget variances to ensure a clear understanding of what is influencing our financial position and key metrics.Develops a long-term model to understand where we need to be driving the business to achieve critical outcomes.Evaluate the companys progress toward goals, recommending new initiatives and driving dialogue on organizational KPIs. Oversees and supports financial due diligence during MandA and translates to operating budget and financials including but not limited to leading post-merger integration, including pro forma financials.Ensures best practices are developed, implemented, and managed. Policies and processes that scale our financial operations.Works closely with accounting and other departments to drive the process, data collection, and reporting across the organization.Creates performance expectations and provides ongoing formal and informal performance feedback to the Supervisors within their designated Area.Assists in preparing monthly, quarterly board presentations.Partners cross-functionally to implement operational improvements, etc.Qualifications
What you bring to our firm:
Bachelors degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant progressive financial and/or operations experience.
