Job Description
GEHC Digital Pharma Solutions (DPS) is looking for a Vice President to lead the team of Commercial and Product senior leaders who work between BioPharma customers and GEHC’s Strategic Business Units. DPS specializes in defining challenges and developing creative and impactful solutions to effectively deploy digital solutions. The ideal candidate will be familiar with start-up culture, having led early-stage teams, and will also have experience operating in large company environments. The right person will be missioned to guide a team that develops multi-faceted strategic alliance relationships yielding new revenue streams for GE HealthCare that improve care for patients.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and evolve (as appropriate) the DPS service offering to ensure product market fit in a new, dynamic market and category.
Build an effective organizational structure, processes, and a collaborative culture that emphasizes the achievement of both short- and long-term business objectives.
Develop and execute appropriate strategies to foster commercial success; success measured by net new initiative agreements or alliance agreements established, and most importantly, net new revenue achieved.
Develop and execute appropriate strategies to foster increased deal efficiency and profitability.
Partner with GEHC device and modality teams to design effective deployment strategies which can be unique to each disease area.
Represent Digital Pharma Solutions internally, evangelizing the impact DPS engagements can have on GEHC strategy broadly.
Represent Digital Pharma Solutions externally, extolling the value associated with GEHC massive network.
Deliver reports demonstrating the financial status of the team; present financial status to leadership as requested on revenue, forecast and budget (P&L).
Hire, develop, and motivate a high performing team.
Navigate complex commercial agreements to protect GEHC, GEHC IB, and prospects.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, pharma, technology discipline or business.
Inspirational leader that can simply the complex
Experience in launching new offerings to market and growing new businesses.Experience working for and/or with Pharmaceutical companies.
Experience achieving targeted revenue from business.
Outstanding cross-functional leadership, with proven expertise managing within a matrixed environment.
15+ years of experience in commercial, operational, and leadership roles.
Desired Characteristics
MBA preferred.
Knowledge of GEHC’s products and position in the medical device market.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred.
Prior business development, alliances management or consulting experiences preferred.
Knowledge of digital solution offerings and pharmaceutical offerings.Ability to work with customers and partners on both a business and technical level.
Experience in financial analysis, business case development, forecasting and financial modeling.
Well-developed presentation and communication skills, including the ability to effectively deliver presentations to C-level executives in both GEHC and Pharma.
Travel is required up to 50-60% including international.
