Description

　　Leidos Enterprise & Cyber Solutions Defense team is currently seeking a VMware Administrator, who will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of VMware virtualized environments on different hardware platforms. This will ensure the infrastructure in place allows freedom of action in cyberspace while denying the same to our adversaries. Work will be performed on customer site in Ft Huachuca, AZ and U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret clearance is required to begin work on the program.

　　What will you do in this role?

　　Operate and maintain VMware virtualized environments on diverse hardware platformsTroubleshoot complex issues using GUI, command line interface, and Windows PowerShellWork with remote customers and technical support vendors to resolve complicated hardware and software issuesUtilize diagnostic tools to trace and resolve technical problemsUtilize Remedy ITSM to track and resolve problems impacting continued system operations and make recommendations for any corrective actions requiredPlan, coordinate, and document the use of revised/updated procedures, processes, and methods for the operations and maintenance of the Data Services infrastructureProvide "on-call" support after business hours and during weekends when requiredWilling to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary

　　High School Diploma and 4 years of technical experience, OR Associate's Degree and 2 years of technical experience or Bachelor's Degree.Prior to start of employment you MUST possess one (1) professional certification identified in DISA IASE IAT Level II DoD 8570.01 Approved Baseline.EMC Storage Administrator, Symantec Certified Specialist, VMware CA or other on Ce list w/in 180 daysExcellent team skills, must be thorough, must have excellent communications skills, written and verbalAbility to work in a dynamic cross-organizational team environmentU.S. Citizenship required and an active Secret clearance.

　　Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
