  About the Role

  You will assist the Visual Merchandising Manager with design and visual merchandising efforts across the Malaysia market in accordance with all the brand guidelines for our entire portfolio of brands under the COTY Luxury Division. You will be the bridge between the local Brand Team and the Regional/Global Merchandising Teams to assist and execute best-in-class luxury retail excellence for our points-of-sale and products to support the achievement of our commercial KPIs. You will also hold project management responsibilities for our business expansion and acceleration plans.

  THE ROLE

  In this role you will be responsible for:

  PERMANENT MERCHANDISING

  Work closely with the Visual Merchandising Manager for all new permanent design plans, ensuring that global guidelines are followed, and the relevant approvals are obtained from internal and external stakeholders on time. Ensure all VM collaterals are planned for every store opening setup, revamp, and in-store dress-up. Keep up to date on permanent in-store guidelines, manage and maintain a database of all completed projects and all POS conditions.

  TEMPORARY MERCHANDISING

  Work closely with the Head of Visual Merchandising for all new launch design plans, animation, PR, and consumer events following Retailer's requirements and Global guidelines, and the relevant approvals are obtained from internal and external stakeholders on time. Work closely with Brand Team for animation proposals and communicate the specific needs of the local market to the Regional/Global Teams during the submission and approval process. Monitor animation installation to ensure brand requirements are being correctly actualized and ensure quality execution with a touch of luxury finesse, which is required for the COTY portfolio of brands.

  POINT-OF-SALE MANAGEMENT

  Ensure visibility and top-notch presentation following the Global planogram of our brands and products through store visits and updated guidelines distribution. Coach and instill display guidelines to Beauty Advisors for brand representation and counter-upkeep. Tracking stores' condition to ensure all hardware, visual and grids are well marinating and up to date.

  BUDGET MANAGEMENT

  Handle all launch POSM offering orders from Global with alignment from VM and Brand Managers. Ensure that the Visual Merchandising expenditures for all brands are well managed within the yearly budgets allocated.

  WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  We'd love to see candidates who have:

  You will need to have strong project management skills with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the retail industry and be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects across multiple brands. You can work independently in a fast-paced working environment with tight deadlines. You have experience working in global organizations, are a strong communicator, and cooperate well with both internal and external stakeholders. You are customer-centric and understand the consumer journey and shopper's experience well. You have a design background in merchandising or interior design with knowledge of Microsoft Office, design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, or AutoCAD) You are proactive, think out-of-the-box and embrace a can-do attitude. You can work in the field on store dress-up or monitor event setup after Mall operation hours.
