Summary You will serve as a Visual Information Specialist in the COMMSTRAT division of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR. Responsibilities You will give advice on the different properties, characteristics, and capabilities of the reproduction facility and help customers in selecting the most appropriate form for their use. You will conduct pre-production meetings with customers to determine objectives on appropriate format requirements for projects at hand; recommend most cost-effective formats that will portray subject matter. You will recommend appropriate methods and techniques, which can be used to enhance presentations through the use of related reproduction information products. You will make recommendations regarding budget constraints, material requirements, production schedule and design problems, and develop cost estimates as required. You will lay out and design final details for reproduction information material, to include electronic presentations, publications, and display requirements. You will set up, adjust, operate, and maintain one multi-function high volume digital copier, one to two digital color copier(s) to print single multi-color work, one single color digital press, and various finishing equipment. You will utilize computer-based software programs to include but not limited to Adobe Photoshop and other photo editing programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe In-design, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Illustrator.
