In addition to leading risk management strategy, responsible for Dorman's engagement with prospective investors, existing shareholders, and the research analyst community.
PRIMARY DUTIES:Investor Relations* Responsible for helping drive and deliver a comprehensive investor relations program to provide a timely, accurate and informative view of Dorman's long-term strategic and operational plans, and performance to key stakeholders* Collaborate with company executives to create and distribute strategic investment messages, including news releases, board and investor materials, and other key collateral for internal and external communications* Lead the quarterly earnings external reporting process, including preparing and drafting press releases, conference call scripts, Q&A and presentation materials* Act as the spokesperson for day to day engagement with investor and analyst community and represent the company at conferences, as needed* Build strong relationships and dialogue with the buy- and sell-side to support a deep understanding of Dorman's mission and to attract and retain key shareholder support* Partner closely with Finance, Accounting and Legal to ensure appropriate disclosures and continuous improvement to the reporting process* Keep abreast of best-in-class investor relations practices to drive continuous improvement in Dorman's internal and external stakeholder relationships
Risk Management Strategy* Develop and execute a Risk Management strategy and plan* Recommend and administer property and casualty insurance programs to attain maximum protection at the most economical rates* Build and maintain strong relationships across the finance leadership team, ensuring holistic thinking across multiple business segments and functions in the context of Risk Management processes* Serve as a proactive change agent promoting regulatory readiness, and assist in the integration of standard and requirements across the company* Review and assess ESG program against industry, peer and market best practice; assist with Sustainability report
QUALIFICATIONS:* Excellent financial analysis and writing capabilities* Ability to communicate complex issues in simple terms both verbally and in written documents and presentations* Ability to think and act strategically, but also be able to dive deep, and roll up the sleeves when necessary.* Microsoft Office - Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook & Access required
EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; MBA preferred* 7+ yea s of experience in any of the following fields: investor relations, FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking
