Overview
The Vice President, Commercialization, Global SME based in Europe will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing go-to-market strategies for a highly scalable product portfolio and for delivering on revenue targets in shared accountability with sales teams.
Reporting to the EVP of Global SME, the Vice President, Commercialization Global SME will co-lead and provide expertise and guidance to Commercialization leads in the regions.
Key responsibilities comprise four key areas with respect to newly introduced products: revenue target delivery, driving market penetration and acceleration, sales enablement, and strengthening product value proposition to existing and prospective customers.
Role
• Build GTM playbooks, regionally relevant value propositions, and strategies for newly developed SME products across the different segments in the regions.
• Drive technical GTM and implementation planning in partnership with Global SME SVP of Engineering as well as Global Customer Delivery team.
• Effectively propagate a deep understanding of newly developed SME products with the regional Commercialization leads in the regions.
• Participate and contribute to the sales planning process with sales teams in markets.
• Track and deliver on business KPIs related to newly introduced products jointly with the Commercialization leads in the regions.
• Accountable for driving sales pipelines for all newly introduced products and sizing top business development opportunities to unlock growth.
• Develop training materials and programs on newly introduced products for regional Commercialization leads, CSC personnel, and account managers.
• Where needed, especially in the Proof of Concept and Market Test phases of new product launches, participate as a subject matter expert in customer meetings and deal negotiations to materialize opportunities.
• Understand customer needs with regard to newly developed products and share with global New Product Development teams to guide product localization, integrations, and further product enhancements.
• Drive thought leadership on pricing and commercial terms for newly developed products, which will be led by regional Commercialization leads.
• Work with regional Commercialization leads to identify regional or local partners to execute on global product priorities when the decision has been made to partner rather than build or buy.
All About You
• In-depth understanding and prior experience in the payments industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience in SAAS solutions and players across the regions; direct experience selling SAAS solutions preferred.
• Prior experience in driving adoption of solutions for small and medium businesses.
• Strong understanding of relevant market trends in the region.
• Prior experience in business development, sales, and product management of complex solutions.
• A results-oriented leader able to drive results and with proven experience in developing go-to-market strategies of new and innovative products and end-to-end product strategy and delivery of scalable solutions.
• Entrepreneurial and commercial mindset able to adjust to changing demands of market, customers, internal strategies and build partnerships across the organization.
• Excellent communications and influencing skillset to articulate the value of change and new strategies to the overall business goals.
• Ability to lead cross-function and multi-location teams.
• Organizational savviness to navigate a highly matrixed organization and resilience to thrive in high pressure goal-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's degree. MBA preferred.
• English is mandatory. Proficiency in Spanish, German, French, or Arabic is a differentiator.
• Willingness to travel throughout the European and Middle Eastern /Africa regions.
