Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Design bespoke financing solutions with minimal supervision.in corporate and project format, as well as securitization of corporate receivables and government payment obligations for Latin American clients, with a focus on Peru. Independently originate and evaluate financing opportunities, specifically focused on structured finance space. Lead credit analysis of corporate entities, using cash flow projections, economic statistics, industry association statistics, company financial statements, key performance indicators, and credit ratios. Build and maintain detailed financial models to project future financial performance of different debt issuers to determine their creditworthiness across multiple industries, including infrastructure, transportation, power and energy, oil and gas, banks and other financial institutions, and others. Monitor and lead the execution services on a variety of credit opportunities, including conducting due diligence, public and private ratings assessment, extensive financial modelling, drafting of transaction documents in international and local law. Provide guidance for junior team members in the preparation and presentation of internal committee memorandums as well as external syndication marketing materials, including a credit assessment that is comprised, among other things, of specific scale, profitability, financial and industry metrics, regional market dynamics in LatAm, local legal and regulatory frameworks alongside the clients’ businesses and their interconnection with the Firm’s businesses. Independently work on transactions and obtain clearance from a conflict, reputational, environmental, suitability and confidentiality perspective. Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Economics, International and Developmental Economics, Mathematics or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Economics, International and Developmental Economics, Mathematics or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years (with Master’s) or five (5) years (with Bachelor’s) in the following: evolving markets in Latin America; evaluating business opportunities for robustness in credit profile, taking into account detailed credit analyses of corporate entities, using cash flow projections, cross-currency risk assessment, economic statistics, regional industry association statistics, company financial statements, key performance indicators, and credit ratios; working on local and hard currency structured finance transactions to design optimal capital structure outcomes and price transactions according to risk profile and in line with market comparables; working on complex negotiations with clients of key transaction parameters, including financing pricing, duration, security package, and other terms and conditions; producing and reviewing cash flow models using Microsoft Excel for corporate finance, project finance and receivables securitization transactions; pricing and modeling derivative instruments using tools such as Bloomberg; and seeking internal credit, reputational, conflicts, environmental, and other types of approvals.
