About Veterinary Technician Supervisor

BluePearl Pet Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals.

Pay: $26 - $40 /hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our leveling system

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be a leader in a dynamic team of veterinary professionals. The ideal candidate will be excellent at training and mentoring. They will have advanced veterinary skills. We have a dynamic work environment, exciting medical cases, and great career development opportunities. We are looking for someone with excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.

As a Veterinary Technician Supervisor , you will…

Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge. 

Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations. 

Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings. 

Organize training schedules for Technician staff. 

Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.

Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans. 

Other related duties as assigned.
