　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are seeking an Vascular Tech. As our new Vascular Technologist or Sonographer, you will conduct and document vascular assessments on patients as ordered. You will work closely with the Medical Director for Cardiovascular Services. You will perform procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. 　　Your tasks and responsibilities may include:

　　The Vascular Technologist is responsible for producing quality, diagnostic radiographs for Radiologist interpretation.

　　Demonstrates concern and empathy while performing procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.

　　Prepares and positions patients and equipment is a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.

　　Maintains proactive, effective communication with patient and physicians regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate.

　　Collaborates and confers with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.

　　Qualifications

　　Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers or Ultra-sonographers.

　　Current Ultrasound and Vascular Registry (ARDMS)

　　Current Certification in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.

　　Minimum two years’ experience preferred.

　　Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.

　　Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

　　Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
