　　Variant Configuration Modeler

　　The Impact You’ll Make in this Role.As a Variant Configuration Modeler, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

　　Design and implement variant configuration models for new products and maintain/deploy existing models.

　　Utilize best practices and efficiently utilize Variant Configuration (VC) objects like characteristics, classes, configuration profiles, constraints, procedures, selection conditions, super bom, super recipe, variant table, user interface, variant pricing.

　　Understand material variants, price linking, and sales order costing.

　　Examine existing models/processes and identify opportunities to improve and/or add automation.

　　Document model requirements in work instructions/job aids for product support.

　　Your Skills and Expertise

　　To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.

　　Four (4) years of experience in SAP Variant Configuration (VC), Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) and Solution Sales Configurator (SSC) with at least 1-2 full cycle SAP implementations.

　　VC system configuration and relevant cross-functional knowledge of integration points with other modules

　　Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

　　Ability to work with business partners in different locales/time zones. Ability to collaborate with global team in US and UK. Shift of 2pm - 11pm.

　　Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

　　Experience building VC models in a manufacturing sector.

　　Attention to detail.

　　S/4 HANA project experience.
