The Electronic Technician, Maintenance IIreports directly to the Site Lead. This position is for maintenance of a simulator training device used for the U.S.Navy F-18 program. Specific job responsibilities included but are not limited to the following:Perform organizational and intermediate level maintenance on all site training devices in accordance with all applicablesafety and maintenance documents.Perform trainer system startup /shutdown as requiredFacilitate and assist connected events.Ensure mission setup of all training devices prior to the start of scheduled missions.Document all events within established guidelines.Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual periodic maintenance tasksWork any shift and weekends as specified by Contract for this site.Be able to effectively interface/communicate with U.S. Navy Aircrew personnel and other contractors.Clean assigned spaces as required.Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) flights of stairs is required.Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.Must always present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress.Perform other tasks as assigned.An Electronic Technician, Maintenance II shall demonstrate competence through satisfactory progressive performance as an Electronic Technician.Minimum experience shall include two (2) years electronics maintenance or graduation from a two -year resident ElectronicsTechnician course at an accredited technical institute or the equivalent. Ideal candidate qualifications: * 4+ years' experience as an F/A-18 simulator technician.Meet the IAT-II requirements as identified I DoD 8570.01MTraining or experience equivalency will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Government. An Information Assurance (IA) certification of CompTIA Security+ is required; An approved Operating System Certification will be required within 6 months of hire.
