  About the Team

  Our mission is to partner with top organizations -- to assist them in telling their story and articulating the quantitative and qualitative benefits of Workday to their C-Suite leaders. We work side-by-side with prospects and customers to uncover key challenges and high impact opportunities for change, connect the dots from technology solutions to outcomes, and share evidence of the value our customers have realized. We co-create valuable and compelling experiences with prospects by deploying various tools and methods, some of which include design-thinking workshops, capabilities maturity assessments and benchmarking, and value-oriented demonstrations.

  In addition to advising prospective customers, we partner closely with Regional Sales Leaders and Account Executives to ensure customer value and outcomes are central to every sales pursuit. Although we support individual engagements, we also look to scale our impact regionally and globally. For example, we may support demand generation campaigns, develop thought leadership content, refine the value proposition for new products, create new sales plays and motions, and drive other 1-to-many activities with the goal of helping increase pipeline and sales execution.

  About the Role

   

  As a Value Manager, you will:

  Develop relationships as a consultant and business advisor to a Regional Sales Director and team of Workday Account Executives -- working alongside them and the industry's premier presales teams to engage, excite, and educate Workday prospects on their transformationBuild a strong knowledge of Workday's technology to deliver compelling and relevant messages around Workday's unique and differentiated valueDrive engaging discovery interviews with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to uncover pain points and to understand business processes within their organizationsDevelop and deliver compelling narratives, engaging business case materials, and presentations to senior and C-level business audiencesConduct consultative quantitative analysis, ROI modeling, and benchmarkingContribute more broadly to the Value Management practice by creating and sharing new best practices, innovation frameworks, and thought leadership

   

  About You

   

  Basic Qualifications:

  3 +years of experience level: mid-career with relevant work experience, ideally in consulting, finance, professional services, corporate strategy, presales, value engineering, sales, or other applicable roles

   

  Other requirements:

  Strong consulting skillset including excellent discovery, quantitative modeling, active listening, collaboration, communication, and executive presenceCurious about a variety of business models and industriesDomain experi nce in enterprise software, human capital management, finance, and/or corporate planning is helpful, but not requiredUnderstanding of software deal dynamics and ability to think strategically about driving software opportunities forward is encouragedBachelor's degree required; MBA, CPA or CFA highly encouragedWillingness to travel to customer sites (although not at this time); average of 30-40% travel; often "day trips;" you control personal travel schedule

   

  Workday Pay Transparency Statement

   

  The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.   Primary Location Base Pay Range: $118,800 USD - $178,200 USD

   

  Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $118,800 USD - $178,200 USD
