　　More about the role

　　We are looking for an experienced Russian speaking individual to join us as an E&I Supervisor in the Bukhara region of Uzbekistan working on the Utilities & Site Establishment.

　　This is primarily a site-based role but will include a period of time in a head office environment working on front end project development such as contract strategies, planning and constructability. The ability to communicate with key stakeholders both at site and in a Head Office environment is a key attribute for the role.

　　You will be part of a small team of great individuals. You will work with them to ensure the safe, legal, reliable, and efficient operation of the production plant.

　　As the E&I Supervisor, you will

　　Use experience and knowledge to provide technical and supervisory support, guidance and mentoring to existing management contractor construction team.

　　Support, promote and champion positive safety culture and ensure all parties are reminded of expectations with regards to safety being number one priority.

　　Encourage and promote communication and teamwork.

　　Assist in developing strategies and initiatives to improve managing contractor and contractor performance.

　　Assess existing contractor interface performance during construction works and helping to develop and improve activity simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) coordination.

　　Ensure safety requirements of the project are being met by all parties by supporting and encouraging safe work practices.

　　Assist in review and appraisal of method statements and risk assessments for technical content and safety considerations.

　　Carry out weekly HSE inspection audits.

　　Monitor permit and safe plan of action compliance.

　　Continuously observe and monitor the interface of all construction activities for all disciplines, assist managing contractor in resolving any interface coordination issues.

　　Assist managing contractor with monitoring of the execution of the works, to ensure project quality requirements and standards are met including monitoring of contractor Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s).

　　Input into coordination of interface between Vendor Representatives and Contractor.

　　Assist in system walkdowns with contractor and client.

　　Attend daily and weekly coordination meetings.

　　Assist in monitor of progress & productivity being reported by contractors.

　　Assist in developing detailed reporting of assessment of works and contractor performance.

　　As the E&I Supervisor, you already have

　　Recognised apprenticeship or Engineering qualifications followed by work experience. Electrical bias strongly preferred.

　　Demonstrable experience of managing large site teams (1000 workers)

　　Demonstrate ability to understand importance of monitoring contractor performance by use of key performance indicators (KPI) and being able to report clearly site progress and performance to senior management.

　　Working knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and standards with the ability to manage contractors.

　　Computer literate (MS Office components)

　　Understanding of typical design datasheet/drawings and familiar with General design/construction standards in Electrical which can be related to those generated by Air Products.

　　Exposure to Change Management processes and implementation is an advantage

　　Project costing skills for evaluation

　　Demonstrable Self Starter attributes.

　　Demonstrate experience with directly managing multi-discipline site teams

　　Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within and outside of the organisation.

　　An experienced leader and developer of teams, with a proven ability to lead, engage and motivate the team.

　　Experience with Advanced Work Packs Methodology

　　Ability to perform and maintain deadlines under pressure

　　Positive “can do” attitude & strong work ethic.

　　Excellent communication skills. Excellent English (spoken and written)

　　Russian Language Essential
