Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Finance Division as a Utility Billing Associate. The ideal candidate will provide essential clerical support and outstanding customer service, with a focus on Utility Billing. This role involves handling various administrative tasks, managing customer accounts, and ensuring efficient communication within the department.
Essential Job Duties:
Customer Service Excellence.
Provide respectful, professional, and positive service in all interactions with co-workers, internal and external customers, community members, and the public.Maintain a positive and productive environment, ensuring compliance with City, Department, and Division policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.Reception and Communication:
Perform customer service and reception duties for the Finance Division.Manage verbal and written communication, as well as record-keeping, for the water supply backflow prevention program.Utility Billing:
Set up, monitor, and maintain utility accounts for the City of Wentzville, covering solid waste, sewer, and water services.Coordinate meter installations and change-outs.Answer questions and provide assistance concerning account information.Administrative Tasks:
