　　Your Role:

　　EMD Electronics is hiring a Utility position at our Allentown site. You will be working in both a team and individual setting while learning to use new tools and integrating continuous improvement plans. This position is responsible for cleaning manufacturing work areas, restrooms, Class 10 and Class 100 cleanrooms, as well as other cleaning activities as directed by your supervisor. Other responsibilities include:

　　Gather recycled material, empty trash, clean surfaces, vacuum and wash floors using motorized walk behind floor cleaning toolGather used cleanroom clothing and staging and replenishment of cleanroom clothing and consumable materialsSafely use hand tools such as drills (portable battery and drill press), taps, wrenches, sockets, crimp tools, cutoff tools jigs and fixturesInspection and general tool maintenancePhysical Requirements:

　　Lifting up to 50 pounds and transferring this weight to a cart either at the same level or down at knee height (maximum vertical lift to any height of 30 pounds)Push or pull metal boxes on wheels (up to 200 pounds)Ability to stand and kneel on ergonomic mats over concreteStep up on one step, lean over a tilting lift tableRequires full range of motion with their arms and legsUse of PPE for cleanroom environment (cleanroom hair cover, face cover, smock, and Latex/Nitril gloves)This is a 2nd shift position (Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm). Starting salary for this role is $26.41/hour.
