The Student Engineer will assist Process Engineer/Specialist with all aspects of assigned process and related machines. Perform audits and trainings and use Lean methods to promote continuous improvement.

　　What You Will Do:* Assist Engineer/Specialist with all aspects of assigned process and related machines* Troubleshooting* Assist production operators with machine malfunctions; assist maintenance when needed* Assist production floor with quality improvements* Own and be a part of PDCAs for the process* Learn and apply Six Sigma principles* Create, audit and maintain standard works operators to use for training on process, i.e. Critical Knowledge and Job Breakdown Sheets* Run and train others in process meetings* Work a flexible schedule based around school schedule* Follow all company policies (Attendance, No Tobacco Products on Campus, Illegal Drug and Alcohol, Family Medical Leave Act, Personal Appearance, Personal Electronic Devices, Vacation and Personal Time, etc.)

　　Minimum Qualifications:* High school diploma/GED is required* Must have a valid Driver's License* Immigration sponsorship not available for this role* Must have been accepted to a bachelor's engineering program at a university with intent to graduate

　　Physical Demands:* Combination of sitting, standing and walking for eight or more hours* Occasional repetitive motions* Use of Safety Equipment (Safety glasses, Steel-toed boots)

　　Preferred Qualifications:* Lean and Six Sigma knowledge* Good interpersonal skills* Ability to apply things learned at school* Ability to teach and explain methods, standards, etc. to others (Job Instruction)* Ability to speak in front of crowds* Team attitude* Advanced computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, JMP, Pro-E, etc.* Some database knowledge, i.e. SQL, Statistics
