Job Summary: The Advanced Practice Provider is involved in direct patient care, primarily in the clinic setting. The clinic has a team atmosphere where the the APP will partner with the established three Urologists as well as the clinical and non-clinical staff.

　　Education and Certifications required:

　　Master's degree Graduate from an approved PA or NP program;

　　Texas license,

　　National Board Certification

　　BLS (active).

　　Experience: 1 - 3 year minimum experience preferred, but new graduates will also be considered

　　Salary and Benefits: Salary range is negotiable based upon experience.

　　Core Competencies for Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC)

　　Obtain and record medical history;

　　Perform physical examinations as appropriate;

　　Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate;

　　Formulate a diagnosis ;

　　Identify and prescribe appropriate pharmacologic agents and non-pharmacologic interventions as allowed by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, Texas Board of Medicine, Prescriptive Authority/Collaborative Practice Agreement, And DEA regulations;

　　Educate and counsel patients and families according to diagnosis;

　　Make appropriate referrals to patient and family
