Reference #: 2b774da6a865b2b3JOB SUMMARY (basic purpose of the job): This position provides basic and advanced mechanical support and performs activities to assist in the teardown, cleaning, and rebuilding of machinery used in corporate production. Check in and inspect equipment returned for service2. Disassemble equipmentSeparate componentsMaintain log of machine repairs or any discrepanciesDisassemble and clean components3. Perform basic machine repairInspect wiring harnesses and perform necessary repairsInspect and repair threads on attachment pointsPrepare machines for reassembly4. Build and/or rebuild components and set to specifications5. Assist and/or prepare and palletize machinery for shipment6. Maintain a clean and organized work area7. Adavanced mechanics will be asked to assist or mentor entry level mechanics8. Comply with all safety protocols including PPE use and proceduresKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS include the following:1. Experience with small machine repair and maintenance2. Basic electrical knowledge3. Ability to trouble shoot and prioritize issues4. Time management5. Ability to meet physical demands of the position6. Ability to work independently (alone) as well as with others7. Proficient in using various hand tools8. Good communication skills9. Problem solving ability10.
