　　Job Description

　　Under general supervision, coordinates the work of Operator Assistants and Service Operators at the job site during the operation of surface or down hole well logging equipment. Coordinates the activities of Operator Assistants and Service Operators during rigging-up and rigging-down of surface and down hole well logging equipment. Performs pre-job calcuations as required. Obtains pertinent service work information from the customer and effectively communicates appropriate information to assigned worksite staff. Communicates pre-job and on-the-job progress to customer. Communicates and negotiates with customer to resolive issues concerning invoicing service irregularities. Recognizes possible sales opportunities for the Company's other products and services and communicates information to Service Coordinator or appropriate Company staff. Trains and provides guidance to Service Operators and Operator Assistants in the proper performance of pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections and associated paperwork and/or reports. Trains Service Operators and Operator Assistants in the assembly, operation, and maintenance of surface and down-hole well logging equipment including electric, nuclear, sonic, other well logging tools, and pressure control equipment. Completes appropriate documents, reports, and forms that affect the financial results of the business unit, (field ticket, etc.). Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Skills are typically acquired through successful completion of high school diploma similar education and 1 year of experience as Service Operator-L&P, II. Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required. Given the nature of oil field service work, the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary. Must be knowledgeable of HMS standards and guidelines for PSL personnel. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
