Description We are currently seeking a Universal Banker for an opportunity in the banking industry, located in Washington, District of Columbia, United States. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and involves various responsibilities such as customer service, data entry, answering inbound calls, and processing bank transactions.
Responsibilities:
• Addressing and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner.
• Efficiently processing client transactions including check deposits, cash transactions, and credit card processing.
• Ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer credit records are maintained.
• Assisting customers with banking transactions, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.
• Handling inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service.
• Conducting data entry tasks related to customer transactions and banking procedures.
• Greeting customers upon their arrival, creating a welcoming environment.
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary actions when required.
• Assisting with teller duties and other banking responsibilities as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, efficiently addressing customer queries and concerns.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Accurate and efficient data entry skills, ensuring all customer details and transactions are correctly logged.
• Ability to handle email correspondence in a detail oriented and timely manner.
• Experience in managing both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Understanding of transaction banking operations, with the ability to process transactions swiftly and accurately.
• Experience in processing check deposits, ensuring all checks are correctly logged and processed.
• Ability to handle various types of bank transactions, including cash, check, and electronic transfers.
• Proficiency in cash transaction handling, ensuring accurate counting and distribution.
• Experience in credit card transaction processing, with a keen eye for fraud detection.
