Job Summary
Uniform Specialist is responsible for understanding, maintaining, and improving the Uniform Service Program on Campus and ensuring the compliance with Company policies and procedures. Their responsibilities include greeting clients and answering inquiries, locating products, offering recommendations and promotions, and processing payments. They may also address issues or concerns, resolving them promptly and professionally.
Essential Functions
Campus Employee Uniform Program
Cooperation with BYU Departments to ensure proper understanding of the Uniform Program and helping new employees through the process. Collection of uniforms from employees leaving the company.
Analyzing and resolving quality and service problems.
Coordinating daily uniform service and maintaining stock of all uniforms/supplies, etc.
Keeping uniform storage and uniforms clean, tidy and efficiently organized.
Work with internal systems (Spot, R-base, online stores, etc.)
Develop and maintain internal documentation for BYU Uniform Program in compliance with general Campus policies and supporting business needs that vary from department to department.
Communication with Production Services Fleet Manager of all delivery/pick up needs.
Performing other duties, as asked by Laundry Managers, which are related to this position and which meet the qualifications
Retail Sales
Maintain high levels of customer service through constant communication and training of front-counter student employees. Teach and model effective customer service skills as you complete returns or exchanges, answer questions about products, and create a positive customer experience.
Understand and communicate customer needs, timelines, and priorities for each retail linen.
Maintain a clean and organized front-counter with expectations clearly communicated to employees.
Improve processes and communications between customers, retail and industrial operations.
Support for Laundry General Manager
Provides operation support as needed
Assist Laundry Managers in any tasks where needed. Laundry Uniform Program Liaison.
May perform other duties as assigned

* Minimum education/experience required:*
Education:
Years of experience: 1 Year experience in a supervisor role, Microsoft Office, Customer Service
* Preferred:*
Education: Same proficiencies as above &32 year experience in Supervision / Customer Service.

Work Location: Provo Campus
Environment: Periodic exposure to unfavorable conditions. Need to be in variable temperatures or wet environments, etc.
