*Underwriting Account Executive*

　　Ideastream Public Media, a Cleveland-based multiple media organization and home to Ohio's largest NPR, PBS and classical radio stations, continues to expand its news and information, arts and entertainment, classical and education services to 22 counties in Northeast Ohio. As part of that expansion, Ideastream seeks a collaborative sales professional to serve as Underwriting Account Executive. 　　Reporting to the Corporate Sales Manager, the Account Executive is responsible for securing revenue from local businesses, corporations, community organizations, and advertising agencies through sponsorship of Ideastream Public Media's radio, television, and digital platforms. This position will also focus on growing existing client revenue as well as generating new clients. In this role, you will sustain and grow existing underwriter support, prepare action plans to report the number of contacts to be made to increase revenue and prospect pipeline, follow-up on new leads and referrals, and prepare proposals and contracts.

　　Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business, communications, or a related field, and three to five years of experience in media sales, nonprofit sponsorship sales, or sales for purpose drive organizations is preferred, though an equivalent of experience in related fields and education will be considered. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Scarborough, Media Audit, Media Monitors, and other media related programs is preferred. The on-target earnings for this position is $65,000 and is commensurate with experience. A valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation is required for this position.
