　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer

　　Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently accepting applications for an Ultrasound Technologist on a full-time/part-time/PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As our new Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, you will perform routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. 　　Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

　　Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures

　　Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images

　　Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate

　　Qualifications:

　　General Ultrasound experience preferred

　　Graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers

　　Current Ultrasound registry through the ARDMS required

　　Abdomen, OB/GYN and Vascular experience preferred

　　Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

　　Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
