　　SIGN-ON BONUS $12,000

　　This position is 40 hours per week (10 hour shifts) with some on-call requirements. Schedule is as follows:

　　Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5pm.Beth Israel Deaconess Milton is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist. At the clinical direction of a Radiologist and the administrative direction of the Director of Radiology, performs technically competent and timely Ultrasound procedures. Maintain quality consistent with established technical standards under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Manager of Radiology.

　　DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Responsible for all technical aspects of the exam. Must be able to independently operate ultrasound equipment to produce and process images.

　　Must be familiar with emergency equipment and supplies within the department and respond/document/report emergencies.

　　Maintain clean work area and adhere to infection control standards.

　　Organize work schedule on a daily basis, assist in maintaining inventory and order supplies as needed.

　　Communicate with reception staff to minimize waiting to ensure patient satisfaction.

　　Collaborate, cooperates and communicate with other healthcare providers to ensure quality and continuity of care.

　　Report equipment malfunctions to Director. Initiate/document service calls for equipment. Supervise and document quality control and assurance.

　　Transport patients as needed. Provide on-call coverage and/or work various shifts as assigned to meet department needs.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited program in Sonography registered or registry eligible in the fields of Abdomen, Physics or Cardiac sonography.

　　Maintains CEU credits

　　Provides copies of the above-mentioned documents to be kept on file in the Radiology Department.

　　BID Milton is offering a $12,000 signing bonus (in three payments over a year) to hired candidates for this position. Candidates will receive $4,000 on the pay period following date of hire, $4,000 once they reach six months of employment, and $4,000 one year following hire date.

　　Important Details:

　　• Employees applying internally from within BID Milton or another BILH entity are not eligible for this signing bonus program.

　　• Re-hires may receive signing bonuses if they terminated their employment with BID Milton more than a year before new hire date. This includes students, volunteers and interns who have worked (paid or unpaid) at BID Milton

　　• New employees must be in good standing at the bonus payout dates to receive payout.

　　• Candidates who are referred by a current employee will receive their bonus as part of the employee referral program. Candidates may not receive both a signing bonus and a referral bonus.

　　• Bonus eligible jobs are subject to change based on the hospital's hiring needs and will be determined by Human Resources on an ongoing basis. HR reserves the right to change the bonus eligible jobs at any time. Additionally, all payouts are subject to standard state and federal tax withholdings and are processed through payroll.
