Job Description

　　The SaaS Tools and Innovation (TINNO) team utilizes state-of-the-art technology stacks, advanced data analytics, and machine learning, to advance Oracle’s internal tools. Specifically, our role is to further Oracle’s goals through big data analytics from across Oracle’s areas of service, analyze it, and provide actionable data to our stakeholders about areas of success or concerns within our customer and product base. We help others within Oracle succeed by giving them a big, yet detailed, view of how their customers utilize our Fusion applications.

　　The role involves, designing, and prototyping solutions for some of our most critical internal SaaS applications. Additionally, this position includes the opportunity to contribute to the larger Oracle UX community and to drive change.

　　The position will collaborate with both architect-level developers and key decision makers, including executives, and is considered a key member of this highly productive and influential team.

　　Main Responsibilities

　　UI/UX Design: Create visually exciting and user-friendly interfaces for browser-based applications.

　　Prototyping: Use Figma to create prototypes that demonstrate the functionality and flow of the user interface.

　　Collaboration: Collaborate directly with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other designers. Attend regular and ad-hoc meetings for multiple ongoing projects.

　　Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems. This involves creating reusable Figma components and ensuring consistency across different parts of the product line.

　　Iteration and Feedback: Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and other sources. As a primary UX contributor on the team, candidates should be able to jump between different projects quickly, as requirements change, or designs require refining.

　　Quality Assurance: Work closely with developers during the implementation phase to ensure that the final product aligns with the intended design. Address any design-related issues that may arise during development in a timely manner to unblock progress.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

　　Portfolio demonstrating user centered designs for products, applications and/or services, showcasing proficiency with Figma and user-centered design.

　　Familiarity with front-end development constraints, design process handoffs, and generating assets for development.

　　Highly proficient in using Figma to create and communicate concepts, wireframes, and detailed design solutions.

　　Deep knowledge Figma including the building of re-usable shared components, libraries, and collaboration functionalities.

　　Strong written and oral communication skills to clearly communicate ideas, present rationale behind decisions, and understanding of goals.

　　Deep understanding of responsive design to present data appropriately for print, email, and in-browser.

　　Able to work with clients in different time zones and a can-do attitude to go beyond what is expected.

　　Capacity to handle numerous projects, tight turnaround times, revisions, and technical challenges effectively.

　　Ability to understand complex data relationships and to translate those into simple visual elements.

　　Understand design trends within the scope of the industry.

　　Coordinate with the larger UI/UX ecosystem within Oracle; lead/drive by extraordinary example.

　　Comfortable speaking to all levels of the organization, from developers to senior vice presidents.

　　Experience in SaaS applications is a plus.
