A week in the life of the UH-60M Senior Aviation Maintenance Advisor (15T):Conduct aviation management and coordination of maintenance efforts within the UH-60A company and will focus on the skills of a U.S. Army 15T UH-60A Utility Helicopter Repairer.Conduct training including classroom academics, hands-on demonstration and over the shoulder maintenance training of Albanian Air Force in the management of the maintenance flow chart, aircraft bank hour tracker, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, parts ordering, production, and quality control operations, and may be designated to perform Technical Inspector duties.Conducts aviation management and coordination of maintenance efforts within the UH-60A unit.Train Albanian Air Force with establishing/maintaining a program to provide routine and historical maintenance documents, Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) and assist in monitoring, collecting, and submitting lubricants samples IAW the Army's Oil Analysis Program.Location: Farka Airbase, Albania
Job Requirements
Must have, at least, eight (8) years of experience performing or supervising helicopter maintenanceMust have, at least, five (5) years of experience performing or supervising UH-60A/L/M maintenance requiring the skills of a 15TMust have five (5) years of previous experience as an UH-60A/L/M Technical Inspector or Quality Control OfficerMust have UH-60 unit Production Control and Quality Control experienceMust be capable of providing expert-level technical mentorship to AAF UH-60A Unit Senior Leaders, Engineering Officers, and Senior Maintenance TechniciansOther RequirementsMust completed Physical Exam within last 12 MonthsNot possess any chronic physical conditions that would prevent performance of duties in a semi-austere, tropical environment with limited access to medical careAbility to present proof of negative HIV test within 90 days of traveling overseasMust possess a current US Tourist (Blue) Passport (Passport must not expire within 12-months of being hired)For over twenty years, AMERICAN SYSTEMS has supported the delivery of training services to foreign military personnel in support of US foreign assistance programs. We offer a very competitive compensation and benefit package and there are no upfront out of pocket expenses for persons hired. All travel and transportation arrangements will be made and paid for by AMERICAN SYSTEMS. Living expenses are paid by AMERICAN SYSTEMS with all employees living in western-style secure accommodations. Work is performed five days per week at a secure facility/base within the host nation. Persons hired will be full-time salaried employees of AMERICAN SYSTEMS. There is no requirement/authorization to carry firearms.
