Job Summary
Under direction and policy from KBR, the ANK-CE Chief of O&M, and the ANK-CE Operations Supervisor, plans, directs the PG&E crew, coordinates, and organizes the day-to-day PG&E work schedules and executes activities and work tasks in the performance of PM, FOFPs and WTs assigned to his department by ANK-CE Customer Service Office. Prepares and submits daily activity reports for each employee in P&G in a timely manner to the Customer Service Office at the end of each duty day. Coordinates with the ANK-CE Small Engine Equipment Mechanic for equipment repair or servicing.
Roles and Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the ANK-CE Chief of O&M and/or Operations Supervisor:
Receives general guidance of work priority.
Provides leadership to cause creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirement of services and is responsible for full execution of said services.
Evaluates execution of services for compliance to contract, schedule, and quality.
Advises the team of status, issues, impacts, and risks of assigned tasks and enforces compliance for wear of personal protection equipment and requirements for use or wear of that equipment or clothing while performing of duties assigned.
Informs team of updates to safety rules and procedures.
Coordinates and, if required, works with the small engine mechanic on the servicing and repair of engine powered equipment, including lawn tractors, mowers, chain saws, hedge trimmers, tillers, snow blowers, street sweepers and other engine power equipment.
Maintain and repair or recover landscaping, with an understanding of soil preparation, repair and lining of athletic fields, trimming and cultivation of trees, shrubbery, and other plants.
Maintain and repair of pavements (asphalt or concrete), storm drainage ditches, culverts or entry points, communications, electrical and sewer manholes.
Be able to perform snow clearance or ice control duties, including operation of snow blowers, truck mounted plows and be conversant with all OSHA, USAF, KBR and local safety directives and regulations.
Operate, repair, and maintain ASF grounds irrigation systems, including startup in spring (including installation of new batteries), and shut down in late autumn (removal of batteries & system blowdown using air pressure).
Maintain inventory of all ANK-CE equipment, tools and materials assigned to the PG&E Section.
Be conversant with requirements of maintaining the schedule of ASF grounds maintenance.
Prepare and submit daily activity reports to the ANK-CE Work Controller for manpower accounting.
Inform the Chief of O&M or Operations Supervisor of any requirement for equipment maintenance or procurement, material requests, employee concerns and other matters.
Perform duty as supervisor during preparation for special events as required and in the performance for post event clean-up.
Maintain all outdoor facilities such as the ASF North Park Pavilion, the ASF South Park Playground, and other recreational facilities.
Assist in providing manpower for heavy work on real property systems, such as HVAC repair, electrical work, and minor construction or heavy maintenance work.
Basic Qualifications
Must be a Turkish Citizen
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in landscaping and groundskeeping.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as foreman or acting foreman in PG&E Operations.
Knowledge of environmental compliance and proper use of chemicals used in PG&E operations.
Capability of operating all types of grounds keeping equipment, including street sweeper
Have a general-purpose vehicle government license, including operation of a 6K forklift.
Basic understanding of the English language. Level 2
Physical ability to lift and carry 20 Kilograms (44 Lbs.)
