Job Summary
Report to and receive assignments, instructions, and directions from ANK-CE Chief of O&M and Operations Supervisor. Reads and interprets instructions and plans work activities. Provides, and moves materials and equipment to work locations and performs a wide range of clean-up and housekeeping activities. Provides leadership, instruction, and guidance to lower-level employees, and may reassign work delegated from the Chief of O&M and/or Operations Supervisor. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including the use and wear of personal safety equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Observing and maintaining the supply of materials, such as cleaning solutions, bucket sets, mops, brooms, cleaning cloths, restroom supplies, etc.
Observation and operator care of machine items such as floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, floor buffers and other cleaning equipment assigned for use in cleaning operations.
Inventory of cleaning equipment and reporting of required equipment maintenance or repair to Chief of O&M or Operations Supervisor.
Inventory of cleaning materials and requisition of resupply to the Chief of O&M or Operations Supervisor.
Daily report to the O&M Work Controller of activity for manpower accountability, including authorized or unauthorized absences, leaves, or illness.
Compliance of special requests made by the Ankara School Principal or Vice Principal within the scope of duties required. The information of special requests, deemed outside of the scope of duties, to the Chief of O&M or Operations Supervisor for review and resolution with the customer.
Basic Qualifications
Must be a Turkish Citizen
Minimum 5 years as leadman or acting leadman in custodian services.
Knowledge of environmental compliance and proper use of cleaning solutions
Basic understanding of the English language. Level 2
Physical ability to lift and carry 20 Kilograms (44 Lbs.)
Record of compliance with requirements of safety and the KBR Zero Harm Policy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in training new custodial staff on proper procedures and safety protocols.
Knowledge of basic maintenance and troubleshooting for custodial equipment.
