Truck Technician
$20-25 / HR | Charlotte, NC
Overview:
Contract to hire opportunity with a truck manufacturing company in Charlotte, NC.
The positions are working to modify/assemble different components of standard new trucks and modify to create auto transport trucks.
Former experience with work as a mechanic in the automotive industry is necessary for the completion of work.
Responsibilities:
Extensive assembly modification work based on printed picture work instructions.
Will start on the more basic lines (installing a second steering wheel and performing more basic modifications).
Will use hand and impact tools the entire day.
Some electrical routing, mainly plug & play based on work instructions.
Qualifications:
At least 6+ months of experience as with mechanical assembly, or automotive/diesel mechanic work.
Must have own basic tools and steel toed boots.
Willingness to learn and eager for a long term opportunity.
Willingness to be a team player and assist in other departments as needed.
Work Environment:
1st shift opportunity.
OT as needed on Saturdays.
Clean and Organized facility.
Work independently & collaborate with others.
