　　Summary

　　The PT Traveling Representative - Transportation works under direct supervision and will be responsible for administrative support both pre- and post- show. This position is responsible for administrative support to the Transportation department and, under direct supervision, preforms regular work assignments related to the strategy of the department or work team.

　　This position will support our Transportation team and is eligible to work a remote schedule.

　　Essential Duties & Responsibilities

　　Professionally interacts with customers, sales, operations staff, and vendors to provide the best customer service experience by phone, fax, email or in person.

　　This position may require extensive traveling to events and will be responsible for entire event from beginning to final billing of event.

　　Utilizes the current Exhibit Transportation shipment management system for all shipments and ensures that all necessary shipment documentation and details are properly prepared and distributed to team members, to include Exhibit Transportation staff, account executives, account managers and project managers to ensure seamless services.

　　Utilizes Carrier Software as well as effectively communicates with selective partner carriers to ensure transportation requirements are met.

　　Contacts exhibitors/clients regarding challenges with shipments, resolving complaints concerning billing or service rendered and managing appropriately.

　　Works with team on planning, execution and post event processing and reporting as needed.

　　Assists in administrative responsibilities such as but not limited to data entry, shipment tracking, show research.

　　Performs other duties as assigned.

　　Education & Experience

　　High School Diploma or GED

　　Bachelor’s Degree preferred

　　Prior shipping & logistics background/experience preferred

　　Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

　　Valid driver’s license is required.
