　　This position represents a great opportunity to put your healthcare knowledge to use in a new way. On the job training is provided but a solid background in healthcare is required.

　　Ability to set a flexible schedule once orientation is complete. This position is NOT remote and applicants must be within commuting distance to Sioux Falls.

　　Job Summary

　　Maintains the Trauma Registry system to provide accurate data and statistics in support of trauma program operations, trauma performance improvement, and patient safety program as a requirement of maintaining American College of Surgeon's Trauma Center Verification. Researches trauma through statistical measures and performance improvement. Maintains a high degree of data entry accuracy as well as strong organization skills. Knowledgeable of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and medical records procedures.

　　Qualifications

　　Associate degree or certification in health care related field desired.

　　Prior experience with computerized information systems preferred. Prior experience with Trauma Registry software preferred. Individual with equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.

　　Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine (AAAM) Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist (CAISS) and American Trauma Society's Trauma Registrar course or equivalent within first year of hire. Maintain throughout employment.
