FTE: 0.001000 Shift: Shift 3 Job Summary: Moves patients andhospital equipment, including but not limited to oxygen tanks,specimens, and hospital beds throughout Froedtert Hospital. Maintainsobstruction-free corridors and disinfects hospital equipment perregulations. May be required to monitor designated entrances, providedirections to patients and family members, access hospital systems, andanswer telephones to provide general information to staff and patients.Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Six months to one yearof customer service experience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: HighSchool diploma or equivalent is required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:Ability to receive and convey non-medical information. Must possess goodpublic relations and communication skills. Must be able to interact wellwith the general public and be able to make sound judgments in a varietyof situations. Must possess basic telephone and computer skills. Abilityto use hospital software to obtain information is required for staffmonitoring entrances. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: American Heart Association(AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHAapproved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
