As a member of Olsson's Transmission and Distribution (Power Delivery) team, you’ll contribute to the intricate network of poles and wires crisscrossing the skies. Join our dynamic Power Delivery team as a Transmission Design Engineer in our Joplin, Overland Park, or Omaha offices. This role involves developing your expertise in electrical distribution, substation design, and protection and control systems. You will support senior engineers in all project phases, from planning to construction administration, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design and analyze innovative power delivery systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on exciting projects.

Participate in site visits and field inspections.

Prepare technical reports and documentation.

Continuously learn and grow professionally.

We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Joplin, MO, Overland Park, KS or Omaha, NE office locations.

Qualifications

You are passionate about:

You bring to the team:

Strong communication skills

Ability to contribute and work well on a team

Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Four or more years of engineering design experience.

Registered professional engineer (PE), a plus.
