　　Our Los Angeles Office is seeking a Transit and Rail Systems and Data Analysis Intern for Summer 2024.

　　We are looking for self-motivated individuals with an interest in transit and rail, and capabilities in data analysis and artificial intelligence. We will use smart infrastructure and big data to develop tools for preventative and predictive maintenance, allowing transit agencies to identify and fix problems before they disrupt service.

　　Relocation and Housing are NOT provided for this position.

　　What You’ll Do:

　　Assists project team members with various support tasks.

　　Conducts basic research and data collection.

　　Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.

　　Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.

　　Performs other duties assigned.

　　What You’ll Need:

　　Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate programWhat You’ll Bring:

　　Ability to work with large databases including data cleansing and extraction

　　Ability to work in Python and/or similar software tools

　　Familiarity with AI and pattern recognition algorithms

　　The approximate pay range for California is $21.42 - $36.50. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
