Job Description
Position Summary
The Transaction Coordinator will perform a variety of tedious and detailed oriented tasks centered around analytical and administrative support for the Transactions Team. Candidates must be detailed oriented self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate for this position would be a highly organized professional who is internally motivated, a self-starter and detail oriented with a desire to support the Transactions Team as efficiently as possible to onboard or offboard a property from the platform. The ability to maintain confidentiality, proprietary information and professionalism in all communications is required.
Essential Job Functions
Act as an internal department liaison to coordinate and assist in all transaction specific milestones.Facilitate communication between BPMF Functional Leads and Senior Management, BPG Asset, Investment, Legal & Portfolio Management teams, BAM Executives and all external parties involved in the transaction.(40%)
Reviewing Due Diligence Materials. Validating information provided is up to date and accurate.Familiarity Transaction Process for Acquistion and Dispositions.Knowledge and Understanding of Data Room Structure as well as Marketing, Broker, and Legal Processes.(30%)
Assist with date driven Transaction milestones and timelines and coordinate all aspects of the roles & responsibilities for each department.Superior document management and organizational skills. Including strong verbal and written communication skills.Special Projects Assigned as needed.(30%)
Work Experience
Below is the required/preferred work experience for this position:
3 - 4 Years: Experience in commercial real estate (Broker, Law Firm, Ownership) - Required
3 - 4 Years: Project Management - Preferred
Note: 5 - 7 Years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position.
