Description:
TEKsystems is providing support to the Informatics Office of Center for Disease Control and Prevention Center for Forecasting and Outbreak Analytics (CFA). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is a public health agency that protects against new and emerging health, safety, and security threats within the U.S. as well as worldwide through disease control and prevention. In order to advance U.S. public health response, forecasting, and surveillance capacities related to disease outbreaks, epidemics, and pandemics, CDC established the Center for Forecasting and Outbreak Analytics (CFA). The functions of CFA are (1) Predict: Generating forecasts and analyses to support outbreak preparedness and response efforts, (2) Inform: Share timely, actionable information with the Federal government; STLT leaders, and the public, and (3) Innovate: Support research and development to improve outbreak forecasts and analyses.
Responsibilities
• conducting post-training assessments and follow-up surveys to collect quantitative and qualitative metrics intended to measure the effectiveness of the training, content utility, quality of materials, and professionalism of the presentation.
• collecting data elements and feed-back responses exclusively from attendees and then immediately submit it to the CFA Informatics Office without changes or comment.
• digitally recording live training presentations and store them for purposes of on-demand access.
• developing, maintaining, and populating an electronic repository for training artifacts e.g., multimedia audio/video trainings, instructional materials, presentation slides, hand-outs, post-training evaluations, training reports and other documentation.
• Collaborate with the training team to develop innovative approaches to enhance the overall training experience.
• Assist in the creation of training materials, presentations, and documentation as needed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training & Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience in conducting training assessments and analyzing data to measure training effectiveness.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
• Proficiency in creating and managing electronic repositories for training materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
