Starting as a small family owned and operated business in Edmonton Alberta in 1982 to offering full service janitorial and building maintenance across Canada today. We attribute our success to staying true to our core values of Service, Motivate, Respect, and Connect. As we continue to grow we are looking to add a Key Account Manager to the Scandi Family!

  You will work with Owner Operators that partner with Scandinavian holding up to 120 Owner Operator employees. This opportunity would include working in one of our largest accounts in the event/ hospitality industry and a premiere Calgary venue. It is a full-time permanent position, hours may vary due to events held at the location, during these events is when it would be required to be onsite. The event schedule from the facility is provided far in advance to manage the onsite expectations, this can range from day, evening or weekend events. There is team support provided for weekend and evening events when required.

  What your day to day looks like:

  Reporting into the Regional Director you will be taking care of the day to day operations of this account and events the role will be 50% account management and 50% people management.

  Account Management; Creating and fostering strong relationships with key clients and store managers. Handling all complaints or issues in a prompt and timely fashion ensuring utmost satisfaction at all times

  People Management: Work with all Owner Operators to confirm all team members required are on site and are correctly being managed by their supervisors.

  Site Inspections; Conducting walk throughs and inspections, attending client operations meetings, and planning for events

  Client Management: Handling all client meetings and requests for the venue.

  What you'll need to succeed:

  2-3 years in a previous Supervisor or Manager position

  Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

  Janitorial, facility, operations or maintenance experience is mandatory

  Most important to us is strong customer service skills, excellent communication and ability to have foresight and plan ahead

  Ability to lead a team while fostering a strong team connection and collaboration handling high pressured stressful situations

  Willingness to learn the cleaning industry

  Additional Job Details:
