Position Summary
Under the direction of the DC Manager, the Training Coordinator will conduct a broad spectrum of hourly employee training programs both technical and developmental to enhance skills, and optimize employee performance throughout the facility
Responsibilities
Train new Distribution Center hourly staff relative to on-the-job training, equipment certification, proper procedures, etc in all functional areas.
Maintain records to evaluate performance and monitor progress of employees.
Determine re-training needs and administers training to low performing employees weekly, as needed.
Maintain training materials, documentation, and training facilities.
Participate in keeping employees updated on product changes and product information.
Document and maintain appropriate on-the-job training records to ensure accountabilities with established guidelines.
Under the direction of the Sr. Mgr., Human Resources/Training recommend, design, develop, and implement training aids/programs to simplify and enhance the training process.
Provide feedback to Sr. Mgr., Human Resources/Training regarding identified needs and operating status of all training programs for hourly staff
Meet/interact with employees, Supervisors, Managers daily, to maintain an awareness of training needs.
May be called upon to handle other duties and responsibilities as the need arises.

Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in communication, math, reading, basic computer skills.
Must possess ability to communicate interface, and mentor employees.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work cooperatively as part of a team.
Must possess ability to execute verbal instructions, and work independently without direct supervision.
Ability to teach, train and develop entry-level employees.
List any previous positions that are necessary background experience to qualify for this position.
1-2 years of distribution center training required.
6-months of prior training experience required.
