  Overview

  TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST/SME (MEF)

  Bowhead seeks a Training and Development Specialist/SME to support our Marine Expeditionary Force G-2 Intelligence Operations Center Support Services contract in Camp Lejune, NC.

  Responsibilities

  Provide planning, coordination, testing, fielding, and training support for new equipment and software.

  Develop and validate training materials.

  Conduct operational and doctrinal analysis support to the operating forces and training commands to meet new equipment and software fielding requirements.

  Support and participate in the system’s Fielding Integrated Product Team (IPT), to include conference agenda, organization, and meeting minutes Support the staffing, revising, and finalizing of the system’s Fielding Plan Support the development of the “Intent to Field” message and support staffing, revising, and finalizing the message.

  Will support the stand-up, organization, and coordination of events within the Fielding Team Support the preparation and submission of the Fielding Decision documentation and briefing.

  Provide System Network support to configuration, site integration, site installation, and operations and maintenance of Local Area Network/Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) as well as provide System Operation support to system administration duties that are focused on readiness.

  May be called upon to act as the primary system operator and support operational setup as issues arise and will be asked to provide Draft Analysis and Feedback Reports for Technical Manuals (TMs), Technical Bulletins (TBs), and Operator Manuals for systems

  Other duties as assigned.

  Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Psychology or Business is required in additional to a Training Certification.

  Ten (10) years of experience supporting Navy orMarine Corps projects to include: establishing training needs, developing goals and objectives, developing training programs, conducting New Equipment Training (NET), and applying the instructional system development (ISD) process.

  A military background is preferred to understand the logistics implications at both the Soldier and Unit level.

  Experience with complex or similar programs relevant to the PM Intel programs.

  Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

  Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.

  Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

  Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds

  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

  SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for admission to this location.
