JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary:The Trainer, Prior AuthorizationOperations excels at collaborating across the organization to bringknowledge, exceptional service and build high engagement throughonboarding and refresher training. This role develops and facilitatestraining through multiple channels and demonstrates culture andcompetencies for trainees so they in turn become strong performerswithin the Prior Authorization team and the organization. Trainer isadept at identifying training needs, creating interactive training,facilitating topics, evaluating effectiveness and retention of material,and constantly enhancing the training program.Job Responsibilities:Plan,create, develop, and facilitate onboarding and refresher trainingthrough various delivery channels to develop successful staff memberswho will deliver higher-than-average service expectationsEnsureresources are utilized efficiently including PA Launch House, NaviClaim,FBMS, Compass, PA Intel, phone technology and othersCollaborate withothers across the organization and within Prior Authorization to ensurerelevancy of material, identify trends and needs and assist in buildingfoundation of quality serviceReview, survey and evaluate trainees andoverall team on knowledge retention, gaps and enhancements; incorporateand implement feedback into training program and Trainer?s personalgrowthAccountable for quality metrics of trainees for up to one yearafter training and driver of new specialist success rate (reduceturnover)Leader in delivering quality service to internal and externalcustomersParticipate or lead projects or assignments as neededProvidetraining support to other areas within Prior Authorization includingMedicare D, Clinical Prior Authorization, and Grievance andAppealsActive learning in adult learning principles and trainingtechnologiesFlexibility to accommodate needs of a department withmultiple locationsOther related duties as assigned/requiredKeyPartners:Prior Authorization Specialist IIIs: Collaborating on learningop trends, post-training patterns of concern or questions, knowledgelevel needed for majority of Prior Authorization topics, ensuringwritten communication for FAQs, MPA reference, and Client Plans isclearPrior Authorization Quality Team: Collaborating on staff and/ortraining and quality action plans; incorporating quality aspects withinthe training environment, reviewing, and identifying trends in learningops, ensure quality program is embedded in training DNA; trendsidentified through quality evaluations are shared and incorporated intoonboarding and refresher trainingWorkforce Management Specialist:Collaborating for effective use of shadowing and transitioning of staffmembers, ensuring staff availability for training sessionsPriorAuthorization Supervisors: Collaborating with...
