Trainer - Operator (2nd shift SHI2)

　　This is a temporary assignment.

　　General Summary: Under indirect supervision, coordinates daily training activities in production for the production area.

　　Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

　　Oversee daily training activities:

　　Work with supervisor on development of training materials for assigned area.

　　Update individual training records.

　　Ensure eSCT pie charts are current.

　　Assign mentors for 1 on 1 training with new employees.

　　Provide training on safe practices and quality standards.

　　Train on waste streams/waste management and housekeeping standards.

　　Work with technicians to provide preventative maintenance training to operators.

　　Communicate only training related information.

　　Evaluate trainees and communicate results to supervisor

　　Able to perform all jobs in the area and fill in as needed.

　　Loads materials which may include items such as diffusers, initiators, disk, support barrels, retainers, end caps, shorting clips, and canisters; unloads product from production equipment.

　　May check, correct or perform rework of inflators.

　　May perform electrical tests on inflators on an as needed basis.

　　Perform quality procedures/audits including dimensional and weld checks as required.

　　Performs visual inspection of completed inflators.

　　Performs traceability activities to ensure accurate tracking of product/materials.

　　Performs general housekeeping duties in work area.

　　Performs TPM maintenance.

　　Stocks materials within production areas on an as needed basis; transports assemblies to next manufacturing area

　　Identifies and is first line in notification of abnormal conditions (50%) –Accountability Board to track and raise red flags.

　　Reviews standardized work

　　Identifies and raises Quality issues

　　Identifies and raises Safety issues

　　Monitors Materials flow to raise efficiency issues as needed

　　Searches for improvement suggestions to implement from observation of process and operators.

　　May operate forklift truck. (New certifications require a 10 panel drug screen, which includes testing for THC.)
