JOB REQUIREMENTS: To provide towing and roadside assistance services tocompanies accounts and the general public. Respond safely andprofessionally to tow calls for vehicles and equipment as directed bycompany dispatch. Display exceptional customer service and administertow records according to company\'s policy and procedures. Deliver (tow)vehicles, safely, efficiently, and professionally and without error ordamage to company\'s facilities or designated destinations. Respond totow request from company\'s dispatcher to perform jobs meeting andexceeding customers expectations. Requests for tow to include, but notlimited to company accounts, municipalities and the public. Representoneself in a professional manner. Provide accounts and company withrequired documentation following all towing. Provide training andassistance on new employee\'s using current towing, loading, UN loadingand administrative experiences. Maintain inventory status of allequipment Hook tow trucks to trailer hitches and fasten attachments,such as graders, plows, rollers, or winch cables to tractors, usinghitchpins. Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it aroundthe warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids,platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles. Movecontrols to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, ortractors and transport materials between loading, processing, andstorage areas. Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices,such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevatingplatforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material. Operate ortend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines.Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such ascleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacingliquefied-gas tank. Position lifting devices under, over, or aroundloaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products fortransport to designated areas. Signal workers to discharge, dump, orlevel materials. Turn valves and open chutes to dump, spray, or releasematerials from dump cars or storage bins into hoppers. Weigh materialsor products and record weight or other production data on tags orlabels. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred 2+years of delivery type truck or related/equipment experience preferredMust be able to lift 50 LBS.
