Group Summary

Your Responsibilities:
Specific
Follow and Update PM requirements on tools
Follow and update spare parts lists
Using 2D and 3D software to analyze existing tooling designs and do improvements to them
Developing blueprints for new tooling designs as per client or project specifications
Sharing designs with colleagues and implementing any relevant feedback developing, testing, and carrying out quality assurance tests
Collaborate with the product and process teams to review and provide feedback on part designs relating to mold-ability, quality, and cost
Continuous improvement of company tooling standards, tools, and equipment
Participate in the preparation of the tooling cost and design during and after the quotation phase of a project
Close collaboration with the molding department by preparing final quotes and tool design determination
Responsibility
Support purchasing while negotiating with vendors and contractors to secure the optimal sourcing;
Scheduling meetings with management and other relevant personnel as required to do traceability of tooling in progress
Work with tooling suppliers to trial and approve new tools for shipment
Traveling to manufacturing plants and factories to gather information and liaise with manufacturing and design teams

Who we are looking for:
Technical education (bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
Good English communication skills (both written and verbal)
Good interpersonal and effective organizational skills
Capable of working with minimal supervision, proactive
Ability to work under pressure
Team player and readiness for traveling
Your preferred qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in automotive industry
Ability to navigate ERP software (SAP)
