Description:
Tool and Die Technician is a key member of the Tool Room team. They are knowledgeable in the assembly, re-sharpening, and upkeep of our dies including one hit, as well as progressive. Outside of the dies there will be some mechanical assembly and troubleshooting as well as teaching others. It is a must that the right individual is highly technical, can communicate with managers, engineers, and can read blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a die-maker or die-tech.
Minimum of 3 years’ die troubleshooting: leading or heavy experience.
Experience maintaining one hit dies as well as progressive.
Ability to give and receive instruction.
Able to surface grind on automatic surface grinder.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Ability to perform part inspection with measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, dial test indicators etc.
Must possess basic machinist knowledge & tools.
Pay: 60K - 70K
Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas
