　　The Manager of Delivery Partnerships owns vendor partnerships and supports the evolving strategic ambition of Ahold Delhaize USA (ADUSA) and its great local brands. This business accounts for over $1 billion of annual revenue and over 10 million annual deliveries across all brands.

　　This person drives contract management including managing Request for Proposals (RFPs) and forging partnership expansion. They will manage performance and execution of existing partnerships, spanning marketplace, last mile capabilities, etc. to achieve additional sales for overflow capacity.

　　This role is accountable for vendor performance per each of the ADUSA brands requirements and goals. Partner with the brand and e-commerce leadership to set strategic direction for third party partnerships. Determine what improvements can be made to drive efficiency, quality (e.g., timely performance) and strategic aspiration in terms of immediacy, coverage and capabilities.

　　This position provides subject matter expertise on standard methodologies vendor relationships and their team will partner with local operators to provide direction at their respective levels.

　　Recipe for Success - What's "in store" for the role

　　Responsible for third-party partnerships (end-to-end), focusing on the $1B+ annual marketplace and shift of AD's last mile delivery from own fleet to gig delivery.Determine service level agreement (SLA) requirements and lead all aspects of third-party execution against SLAs. Manage the team responsible for the day-to-day execution and holds partners accountable for their performance by addressing exceptions or poor performance with partners.Improve standard methodologies with internal partners for third-party Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for handoffs, deliveries and execution.Collaborate with Last Mile channel development, PDL Product and IT to ensure prioritization and development of features and functionality required to grow and mature the third-party eco-system, ensuring it is scalable and efficient.Foster global alliances by gaining alignment with peers inside the Ahold Delhaize Europe (AD EU) organization as gig and third-party partnerships are expanded across global AD.

　　5+ years in a retail eCommerce environment inclusive of management of vendor relationships. Bachelor's degree or proven industry experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.

　　Experience in vendor management, agreements and building relationships.Expert in last mile e-commerce operations, preferably including experience with the gig economy.Foster strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to strengthen partnerships, navigate intricate discussions, and influence outcomes in a professional manner.Ability to manage and mitigate resistance to change at the executional as well as the leadership level.Leverage analytical and problem-solving skills to assess partnership performance by making data-driven decisions to optimize partnerships.Catalyst for improving, crafting and delivering solutions that meet customer expectations.
