The Coating Technician position is an entry-level job responsible forcleaning, inspecting, and measuring substrates to ensure quality.

　　Primary Responsibilities:The incumbent performs optical process steps including but are not limited to:Preparation of optical devices for coating operationsCleaning optical devicesInspecting optical devicesLoading optical components into chambersSets up toolingOperation and maintenance of a cabinet-style sandblaster

　　Some physical strains, such as long periods of standing and walking inproduction facility and lifting of moderately heavy items such as testequipment kits and product cases.Other physical demands include climbing, crouching, and reaching.

　　Education and Experience:High School Degree or equivalent; Associate of Science Degree Preferredor 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training;or equivalent combination of education and experience.Requires On- the- Job training of specific operation of machinery and/orprocesses.
