　　GE Aerospace is offering the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and applications, specializing in aircraft engine design and analysis, in a technology base. Our location, Turkey Technology Center (TTC) in Kartal/İstanbul is one of GE Aerospace's nine engineering centers throughout the world, supporting aviation-related R&D and innovation projects that expand with new investments.

　　The candidates will help digitalization of processes, run flow & thermal tests, provide an engineering support to shop on various projects and run CFD simulations.

　　Job Description

　　Essential Responsibilities:

　　Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhere to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.

　　Have basic understanding of fluid mechanics and heat transfer.

　　Document technical data generated by assigned projects consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

　　Provide an engineering support to shop on various projects and sustaining efforts.

　　Fundamental understanding of mechanical design (statics, strength of materials, dynamics etc.)

　　Have basic understanding of at least one coding language (Python, C++, etc.)

　　Have basic understanding of at least one CFD tool (e.g. ANSYS Fluent, CFX, etc.)

　　Have basic understanding of at least one modelling tool (e.g. Unigraphics, Solidworks etc.)

　　Qualifications/Requirements :

　　Master& PhD. student, Undergraduate (year 3/4) of Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering etc.

　　Good understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics & dynamics

　　Having coding skills is a plus. (Python language is preferred)

　　Good command of English & Turkish (reading/writing)

　　Good command of MS Office Skills (especially MS Excel and MS Power point)
